Last night was Lamar's first official scrimmage. Before the game, the girls and I met the other coaches' wives and had dinner at Rosa's. It was so great to meet new people who had so much in common. It will definitely help make the season go by easier.
Landrie loved meeting the new kids and hanging out. Karsyn climbed to the top of the stadium and then had the fit of a lifetime when I carried her back down. In her defense, she was exhausted. It was way past her bedtime. Hopefully, she'll adjust well because we have a LOT of football games in our future.
I'll make sure to get pictures next week at the first game! Go Buffalos!!

Hey Jennifer...football is in full swing! Oh, the life of a coach's family;) One of my friends just got hired to teach Spanish at Haltom high school...his name is Josh Button. I told him about Lamar and that he should come to the game against Everman (I can't wait by the way!!) Have Lamar go meet him...always nice to have a friendly face on campus. Can't wait to see you!
