Landrie-isms

Tonight Landrie was stung by a bee. After the drama subsided (and DRAMA is putting it mildly), we were talking about why the bee might have stung her. I told her she was so sweet the bee thought it could get some pollen. That upset her---"Instead the bee stole my blood!"--more tears. So we talked about the bee being afraid so it reacted and stung her. She said "I wish that all meat eaters and bugs were nice so I could have a shark, lion, or tiger for a pet!"

She's a mess, but oh do I love her!

Happy 7th Birthday Landrie!!!

I cannot believe that my baby girl is 7 years old!!! I keep telling her to stop growing up, but she just laughs and says she can't. Landrie is such a SWEET girl and I'm so proud of my big first grader! She is sweet, gentle, compassionate, loving, and so much more! She is adored by her little sister and makes me smile every day. I love her spontaneous hugs and "I love yous". I hope they never stop.
